Come learn the basics of climbing, including movement, hand positioning, footwork, belaying, and safety. This class is designed for individuals who have little or no experience in rock climbing. This class is a great way to develop the confidence needed to pursue additional technical skills. This class does not cover anchor building for outdoor rappelling.

Participants will learn how to descend a rope with an ATC and Figure Eight while having a focus on safety. Come learn basic rappelling principles at our 30-foot climbing wall. These classes are held the second Friday of the month. Rappelling is the act of descending a rope in a safe and controlled manner. This class is designed for individuals who have little or no prior experience in rappelling. Trip includes transportation, rafting and lunch.

Great for the whole family! Lunch will be provided on a beach along the way.

Rafting Join the Nampa Recreation Department and Bear Valley Rafting Company for this full day rafting trip along the Payette River.
